Do I have to remove my wisdom teeth?
Wisdom teeth are generally recommended to be extracted if they’re:

-
Impacted (stuck under the gum or jawbone) and causing pain or pressure.
-
Crowded and prevent proper oral hygiene
-
Infected or decayed, especially if hard to clean.
-
Causing gum problems, like repeated swelling or cyst formation.
-
Partially erupted (partly out of the gum), which creates a trap for bacteria.
If they’re fully erupted, healthy, easy to clean, and not causing problems, Dr. Dee prefer to leave them alone and monitor with periodic X-rays.
